Compare the 2016 Passat and 2016 Jetta
Their exteriors share similar Volkswagen style. On the inside, the larger Passat has more room for 5 passengers with 102 cu.ft. of room compared to 94 cu.ft. in the Jetta. The smaller Jetta shines with 15.7 cu.ft., competing with 15.9 cu.ft. nicely. Base model torque is similar in both cars, but as we move up to larger engines, the Passat is no match for the compact Jetta. With one of the only V6 engines in its class, the Passat can put out an impressive 280 horsepower. For a compact sedan, the Jetta is no slouch, topping out at 210 horsepower.
In 2016, the VW Passat and VW Jetta will come available with the optional integration of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
